Hello and welcome to my website.

My name is Katharine Emlen and I live in Knoxville, Tennessee. A place as pitcuresque as the surrounding Smoky Mountains!

I love architecture, abandoned places, patterns in nature, and trees without leaves. I also enjoy photographing performers in the midst of doing what they love.

You may recognize me from The Poetry of Nature, a series of work that pairs macro photography with poems. That work has its own site, but I've put some here, for fun.

All of my work is available for purchase, either by contacting me directly or visitng my online shop at GO IMAGINE. Thank you for stopping by and please reach out if you have any questions!
